Your best intentions may not match up to other people’s expectations of you.  Feeling sorry for yourself after causing someone harm can lead to you wanting to hide away from the world for a while.  However, this is not always a good idea, as learning to ‘face the music’ and accept what you’ve done is a big part of growing up and becoming a mature person.  Try not to be too hard on yourself, sometimes a simple sorry can make everything a lot better.
